Continuing Education - General Course Information
Students may be assisted via classroom or telephone tutor with their academic studies. Student intake for continuing education courses is continuous (prerequisites may apply).
Each course may include:
a. theory or
b. clinical/lab or
c. theory and clinical/lab.
Courses requiring clinical/lab time will have a maximum completion time.

Student Registration:
The student will complete a KDM Dental College Enrollment Application (must be signed by a parent or guardian if applicant is under 18 years of age) and pay the appropriate tuition fees for their course. No student is considered registered for their course until all appropriate paperwork and fees have been submitted and processed.

Course Cancellation:
Any course cancelled or rescheduled by KDM, and students withdrawing from a course will be issued a refund in accordance with their Enrollment Application.

Tuition:
Full payment is due prior to commencing the course.

Academic Information:
Students must have an 75% or better average in order to successfully complete each course.

Termination / Probation:
KDM reserves the right to place a student on probation or expel a student for misconduct, poor academic performance, unprofessional behavior, plagiarism, and for excessive tardiness or absenteeism.

Academic Appeals and Grievances:
When students have concerns with school policies, they are expected to discuss these with their tutor/ instructor. If resolution of the concern is not reached, students may bring concerns to the Executive Officer of Education.

Notes:
Students must dress professionally, at all times. Uniforms must be used exclusively for clinical purposes and have uniform appearance including white running shoes or nursing shoes. White cardigans or lab coats are allowed.
- No school information will be given about the student without the student's written agreement.
- Students must inform the school of any changes in name or address.
- Tuition fees totalling more than $100.00 may be eligible for an income tax receipt and will be mailed directly to the student in February. A $30.00 fee is charged for each certificate issued.
